March 15, 2010 :: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in conjunction with Energy2Cure announces the 8th Annual Leukemia Cup Kickoff which will take place on Thursday, May 13th from 5:00pm to 9:00 pm at ROCBAR, located in downtown Houston's Bayou Place at 530 Texas Avenue. All proceeds from the $25 cover charge and silent auction will benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. A cash bar will be available along with epicurean delights generously donated by Droubi Bros Mediterranean Grill, Frank's Pizza, Cabo, Panda Express and Mary Louise Butters Brownies. Over 400 patrons are expected to attend this festive fundraiser that is a lead-up to the Leukemia Cup Regatta which will take place at the Houston Yacht Club in LaPorte, Texas June 25th to 27th. 5/15/07 :: Energy2Cure’s 2007 Leukemia Cup Kickoff was held at Crome, in the Upper Kirby District of Houston, Texas. Over $30,000 was raised at this year’s Kickoff and contributed to Energy2Cure’s 2007 fundraising campaign which raised $63,623 in conjunction with The Leukemia Cup Regatta.
