ENERGY2CURE’s purpose is to maximize the national
energy industry’s awareness of leukemia and
lymphoma as the No. 1 child-killing disease in North
America. Through this awareness we hope to tap the
financial resources of the industry to fund research
that will one day find the final cure for this disease.
ENERGY2CURE
participates in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s
annual series of sailing regattas that are held
in over 40 locations nationally. Through this
sailing syndicate we combine the collective talents
of sailors and non-sailors who are concerned and
compassionate professionals from within the energy
industry. Through 2006 over 40 different corporate
names have contributed to this cause through ENERGY2CURE
and over 200 individuals have passionately added
their respective talents to this cause.
Since
inception, ENERGY2CURE has raised nearly $700,000
for research and patient assistance. 100% of funds
raised go directly to the Leukemia & Lymphoma
Society. All expenses related to the fund raising
efforts are funded by ENERGY2CURE's Board Members.
Our goal for 2006 is to raise $100,000 for research
and patient assistance.
